Goal: Creating extracurricular and community service opportunities for children around the globe
Why: We want to link those who don't have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities with mentors in their area to build self-esteem.
How: We will connect local middle school/primary school students with a network of passionate and highly engaged highschool/secondary school students. We will hold both online and in-person sessions, in which primary school students can take classes in an extracurricular activity (e.g. instruments, sports, arts) or an area that the upper school student desires. In addition, we will host mindfulness activities for the goal to improve self-esteem and mentorship on resilience. We will reach out to schools and organize ways for their upperschool students to volunteer in community service by helping us to lead extracurricular activities. We also raise funds to provide resources and equipment that will allow students to participate in extracurricular activities.
Opportunities: Sign-up to be a mentor and lead extracurricular classes or create charitable activities (see below for a list of examples). Or apply to find a mentor who can help you take part in extracurricular activities or provide you with resources/equipment you may need (i.e. dance shoes, golf clubs, soccer equipment etc.).
